Our Annapolis Family Dental Team
Alan G. Kline, D.D.S.
Dr. Kline has been practicing for over 25 years. Raised in East Lyme, Connecticut he is carrying on the family trade, as both his father and uncle were dentists.
He is a graduate of the University of Maryland at Baltimore’s College of Dental Surgery and Tulane University in New Orleans. Shortly after starting his career at a large dental practice, Dr. Kline started his own mobile dental company. Bringing dental services to those who needed them, his practice serviced the largest nursing home in upstate, New York. In 1999 he started practicing Annapolis and now also practices in Bethesda. He is known for regularly offering dental services to the displaced and homeless in the community.
Dr. Kline is an avid tennis player and enjoys boating. He is the proud father of two children and has loved raising them in Maryland with his wife, Heidi.
John P. Veltman, D.D.S.
Dr. Veltman graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Maryland’s Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 1976 and was selected into the Omega Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. He was also given the Nathanial David Gold Medal award for excellence in clinical dentistry. He earned a Cum Laude for his work in chemistry from University of Maryland Baltimore County and also studied at the University of Texas and Bucknell University.
Dr. Veltman is a past president of the Flying Dentist Association and the Annapolis Dental Study Club. He is a life member of the American Dental Association and is a long-time member of the Anne Arundel Co. Dental Society.
Dr. Veltman trained as a U.S. Army combat medic and served in Vietnam. He is an avid sailor and pilot. You can find him hunting, fishing, rowing, on his motorcycle, or square dancing in his free time. He and his wife live on the eastern shore of Maryland and have two daughters.
Eric Clark D.D.S.
Dr. Eric Clark completed his B.S. in biology at James Madison University and followed with his D.D.S. at at Virginia Commonwealth University. After graduation, he sought advanced education through a General Practice Residency at the Lehigh Valley Hospital in Bethlehem, PA where he gained experience with implant restoration, cosmetic smile design, endodontics, and surgical cases.
He has continued to learn advanced treatment techniques to bring to his patients through Spear Education while maintaining membership in the ADA, Academy of General Dentistry, and Academy for Sports Dentistry. In his free time, he loves to spend time with his wife traveling to new places and exploring new restaurants.
